Hybrid battery current sensor combining Shunt and Hall technologies
The Hybrid Supervising Unit (HSU) is a hybrid battery current sensor designed for both DC and AC measurement of battery packs in electric and hybrid vehicles. It features two current measurement channels: one using the shunt effect and the other using the Hall effect.
Both channels support a primary current measuring range of up to ±2000 A.
The shunt effect channel consists of a PCBA mounted on a shunt resistor, with an integrated thermistor and connector, while the open loop transducer is using a Hall effect integrated circuit.
The HSU offers high insulation levels, excellent accuracy, and is designed for primary fastening mounting.
